Nitush & Aroosh
Nitush & Aroosh, self-taught artists based in New Delhi, create sculptural furniture and lighting that evoke a sense of movement - shaped by the texture of flowing water. Working primarily with stainless steel, they use hydroforming to inflate metal into hollow forms, then hammer it by hand to create undulations that ripple across the surface, as if in motion, yet stilled in time. This texture runs through all their works - distorting reflections or catching light in crests and troughs, making each piece feel alive in its environment. By drawing from water’s shifting character, they challenge the static nature of metal and reshape how it interacts with space.
